Between Lovers

A crown of incisors and canines
Sink beneath a tender weave, inviting at once
A warm flush and irresistible chill
To every tip, through every fibre
With buds that press and prospect sultry depths and spiral folds.
A luscious melt of deep swells and contractions,
Wringing, venting through porous satin
Awash with flood-like intensity,
Tightening the call of inexplicable need.
Walls mould and squeeze, in mutual exploration;
Every inch a primal revelation, reaffirmation.
Print whorls trace a path
To the anchor, mast and sail of one’s soul
Only true love knows.
